Why didn't I know ...

that Lady Bugs come in Orange as well as Red?

And some with black spots and other without one little spot on it at all?

Until now, I always knew and saw the lovely little lady bug to be red with black spots all over its back. But after all these years [and it's been a good many too], I finally come across another variety that is Orange and No Spots at all. Fascinating!
I found her sister in my garden too, but she just wouldn't stand still for a picture.

They're keeping the flowers in my garden healthy and the birds happy ...


At least these guys don't eat Lady Bugs!
