A very merry Christmas was had by all ...

Spent Christmas Day at my SIL's and almost the whole family was there. Lot's of food, a Yankee gift swap and the wine and laughter flowed.

But even before that on Saturday was another Christmas party with two more grandsons and my two step-daughters, Veronica & Laura with their husbands.

I had a fun time of course. And ...

More Fingerless Mitts handknit by you-know-who, were put on display.

Not to forget to mention that a knitting kit went to Nicholas (age 13) so he can do something he's been wanting to do for a long time now ... Learn to KNIT. I was so busy with the teaching that I forgot to take a picture of him knitting before they left. But I understand he knit all the way home (a two hour drive).

And another knitter is born!

Hi Rhonda, nice to know we're influencing new knitters. My card was on card stock, I made a few to give out and now I can't find the original. The one I had left got a little damp, but I'm holding on to it for dear life.
Happy Holidays.

Gorgeous grandkids, and your little granddaughter is so cute with her new teeth. Nice to know that there will be a next generation of knitters too. Keep up the good work, and happy holidays to your family too.

I think you did start something! Look at all the new knitters! I love seeing boys knit. My oldest (almost 7) tries sometimes, and I know his dad doesn't like it. I won't discourage him. If he wants to knit, power to him. He's ADHD, and I find it actually helps his concentration, so that a bonus.

Merry Christmas!

How great to hear that you had such a fantastic time - I loved looking at the pics and seeing how much everyone enjoyed themselves! And yay for recruiting a new knitter, that's amazing!
