Away for the weekend ...

Now that the "Little Felt-Tea Farm" tea cozy is officialy at Seed Stitch Fine Yarn and entered into their teacozy contest, we'll be taking off for NH to visit family. But before I also finished my last pair of mittens for the Winter and for the Knittin' Mittens KAL. Whoopee, all done just in time...

Now we can take off ... oh ya, and before we do I want to tell you about a couple of more contests.

1. Go over to Shelley's and you just have to leave a comment to what you think her cat's name is to get your name into the drawing for a set of stitch marker's she made herself.

2. Then check out DebbieKnitter's contest, she explains it more on this post.

And, DebbieKnitter check out this book . You'll find my email address in my Profile under Contact which has a link to it. Drop me a line again so I'll have your email and we'll talk about Mr. Mann getting into needle felting. I would think he is too young [those needles are very, very sharp] but since he already knows about it, looking forward to trying it, and you'll be right with him, it wouldn't hurt ... well not unless one of you gets stuck with a needle. I've done it once so far ... and it hurt like H*!! ... but the kit you got should help. BTW, the clover needle is what I stuck myself with so even tho it has a guard it's still possible to do. ;-) We'll talk more in email okay?

Can you guess what these are for? I don't have any pets, so they're not for what they're orginally intended.

Well I'm running our of time so I'll tell you Monday!

You're tea cozy is beyond fabulous Rhonda! Who'd have thunk there was a felting genius hiding at the home of the Stitching Nut? You rock!!!

Have a great trip!

For blending fibers?

Re: needle accidents, my son jumped in my lap and we both got a poke from the business end of a dpn yesterday :) I can smile now, but oy... couldn't imagine felting needle injuries!

At school we use those to clean the drum carder.

I think your using the dog combs for blending fiber. Or for widening out the rovings when you get them in. I used to use them to clean my drum carder, and still use them to flik locks with.

Your socks are awesome, and if there is a nicer tea-cozy out there I want to see it!!

Good luck.
